Customer Testimonials

We think our K and G Cycles customers are kinduvabigdeal!! and they feel the same way about us. Here are some of the recent messages from our friends. "I've got to ask: Why is your price so much lower than anywhere else on the internet? I've been looking at this jacket since last fall and everyone is still selling at list price." Connie from Arcanum, OH   "Everything was Great, I have a hard to fit 2007 Softail Custom with the FAT TIRE. Tom V in customer service was more than helpful and knows what he is talking about. I will be a long term customer. Thanks Tom, Appreciate all your help." Tom Miller   “Impressive customer service. I can’t wait to tell all my riding buddies about you, as well.” Rob, FL   Just received my order of route 66 iron on patches......exactly what I was looking for......Thank-you!!!!! P.S.  many other places had $50 to $100 min. order requirements and didn't look the quality of the ones I received from K and G.....may need more in the future.....Thanks again!!!!! Tom Miller

Welcome to our Vtwin Blog!

Our hardworGeorge-New-Image-02king owner, Dr. George Marakas, is truly passionate about motorcycles. You’ll find out how true this is the more you become familiar with K and G Cycles. Here is a short background story with excerpts from an interview he did with Bikernet.com George was born in South Chicago and raised everywhere from his birthplace to Southern Ohio. As a young man, he did a stint in the music business working as a sound engineer for major acts such as Edgar Winter Group, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer and Ray Charles. From there, George got hooked on computers and worked in the banking and real estate area. His highest position in that realm was as CEO for a real estate management company in Miami. He left that world in 1992 to pursue his doctoral degree in Information Systems at Florida International University. Since graduation in 1995, George has been on the faculty at University of Maryland, Indiana University, University of Kansas, and now, back at FIU where he is currently a Full Professor. On the motorcycle side of life, George’s first bike was a 1971 Honda 450. He eventually made it into a Honda 750 and from there into a series of used Sportsters. George then went for about 26 years without riding and then got back into a sound mind and rational thinking and starting riding again in 2000. That ride was a 2000 Road King. Today,  George has (4) 1965 Panheads (3 fully restored and 1 completely original), a 2006 Deluxe (highly customized), a 2007 CVO SE Ultra, a 1995 Gilroy Indian, a 1947 Knucklehead (fully restored), a 2010 TriGlide, and a custom in progress that coming from a 2004 Dyna (it won’t look like a Dyna when he is done, however). In 2006, George formed K and G Cycles. By 2007, it became a VTwin, MC Advantages, and Mid-USA dealer. One day it dawned on him that, K and G Cycles represented over 70,000 motorcycles parts with those combined product lines. The information systems professor in George took over, and he mapped out a business plan and a web site that is now K and G Cycles. Today, K and G Cycles offers over 200,000 motorcycle parts and accessories to its customers and represents over 700 major manufacturers worldwide! K and G truly lives up to its tag line – Everything Motorcycle. Online. He never expected the great response that was received from the market, and now George is working two full- time jobs and loves every minute of it. With K and G Cycles in full swing, he is immersed in motorcycles morning, noon, and night. He thinks the K and G customers are kinduvabigdeal and he wouldn’t have it any other way!

K and G Cycles welcomes you to our new blog! We are pleased to bring you tons of motorcycle fun, news & information that will add value to your screen-time and your wind-screen-time.
