• Accept OEM neck bearings and cups
• Designed for 5- and 6-speed transmissions; transmission plate sold separately
• Accepts 86-99 Softail motors with clearance for cylinders up to .200" taller than a stock Evolution motor
• Comes equipped with stock coil mounts, oil tank mounts, forward control mounts and accepts Softail-style flatside gas tanks
• Swingarm not included; accepts stock or most aftermarket swingarms

• The backbone is made from 1 1/2 O.D. Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) steel with .188 wall thickness for superior strength
• The front down tubes and engine/transmission cradle tubes are made from 1 1/8 O.D. steel with .120 wall thickness

Required Components

• 5 speed transmission and mounting plate for Softail 1986/1999 found in the drive train section
• latside at Bob fuel tanks & mounting brackets found in the fuel section
• Oil tank & mounts for Softail 1986/1999 found in the fuel section
• Rear fork, axis tube, axis tube bolts, bearings and spacers for Softail 1989/1999 found in the frame and body section
• Rear shocks & mounting hardware for Softail 1986/1999 found in the frame and body section
• Front fork/frame head cups and bearings for Softail 1984/1988 found in the front end section
• Rear fender supports for Softail 1986/1999 found in the frame and body section

Note: As with any frame-up custom build project, it is common shop practice to pre-assemble the entire motorcycle prior to any paint work for compatibility verification of all parts used.

Note: These frames are designed for a Big Twin Evolution engine with up to .200 taller cylinders or an alternator type Shovelhead. A Twin Cam Alpha (non-balancer) can be used with a custom rear engine mount.
