TERMS OF SALE
All sales are final subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read this information entirely prior to making a purchase from K and G Cycles LLC. These terms apply to all sales and may not be waived. All terms of sale shall be interpreted according to Florida state law. Placing an order with K and G Cycles LLC, whether signed or unsigned, constitutes acceptance of these terms and guarantee of payment under the guidelines set below. We reserve the right to modify the terms of this agreement without notice. Continuing to use the site after any such changes, constitutes acceptance the modified terms.
PART INSTALLATION & FITMENT POLICY
It is recommended that all parts sold by K and G Cycles are installed by a qualified motorcycle mechanic. It is important that you order the right part for the job you are undertaking. If there is damage to a part, motorcycle and/or injury to a person or persons installing such, K and G Cycles, LLC can accept no responsibility. Since neither we nor the manufacturer have any control over how a part we sell is used, it will be up to the purchaser to make sure that the correct part is chosen I for the job and correct installation is applied. Refer to the manufacturers' service manuals and parts books as often as needed.
Some of the parts we sell may not be street legal in your state or country. Please check your local and federal laws to be sure the parts you put on your motorcycle are street legal.
MODEL AND YEAR APPLICATIONS
Model and year designations have been researched to the best of our ability in all the Harley-Davidson®, Honda®, Yamaha®, Kawasaki®, and Suzuki® catalogs and parts books available for the year preceding the publication date of this catalog.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY
K and G Cycles will accept returns subject to our return policy or for warranty reasons only. We apologize, but we cannot honor any requests for exceptions to this policy. If you believe you have a warranty issue with parts received, contact us at K and G Cycles for a return goods authorization number. This number authorizes the return of your product(s) but does not automatically create a credit or exchange for any item. You can discuss the nature of the warranty claim with us at this time to determine the available courses of action If you still wish to return the product, we will send you a return shipping label via email. Any parts returned to K and G Cycles, LLC without a return authorization number and our return label will be returned to the customer at their expense. If, after inspection by our supplier's warranty department, the part is found to be defective, an exchange part will be ordered and shipped directly to you at no additional charge. No credits of any kind will be issued. No returns will be accepted on modified, sanded, drilled, ground, or repainted products. No credit will be issued for labor costs incurred beyond the original invoice price of the product. If the part is not found to be defective by our supplier's warranty department, you will be given the choice of having the part returned to you with additional shipping charges incurred both ways or to have a credit applied to your account minus applicable shipping charges and a 20%-25% re-stocking fee (depending upon the manufacturer). K and G Cycles LLC will make every attempt to avoid a restocking fee on your transaction. If we do not incur a restocking fee on our end, then we will waive any restocking fee on your end. We can make no promises other than to work on your behalf to avoid such fees or penalties. No items below the value of $25.00 (not including original shipping cost) will be accepted for returns, due to the restocking fee, and shipping cost, it is not cost affective to process these types of returns.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact K and G Cycles immediately and speak to a representative. You may send us an email request, but your order will not be canceled until we acknowledge receipt of your email request. As such, it is best to call us for any cancellations. If your products have not yet shipped, we will gladly modify or cancel your order without cost or penalty. If your order has shipped, however, your products will be subject to the returns policy as outlined in the above paragraph. Please do not refuse the shipment of your product! If you do this, you will delay any possible credit to your account and you remain responsible for the disposition of the product. By refusing the shipment, your product will arrive at a warehouse with no RMA and, thus, no information as to who it belongs to, why it is here, and what to do about it. Please do not refuse your order.
Shortages and discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of order. No credit will be issued on shortages unless the correct part is back ordered. When returning a defective part, please include a detailed description of the supposed defect. All non-defective products will be returned to the customer and further action will be taken.
Items listed only on the return authorization will be accepted by K and G Cycles, LLC. Please do not return your items without using the return authorization label sent to you by K and G Cycles LLC. Failure to use the RA label will result in a significant delay in receiving your new parts or credit to your account and will likely incur additional shipping charges on your behalf. Any other items will be returned at the customer's expense. Returned goods received in damaged condition will be returned to the customer. The return goods authorization number must be on the outside of the shipping box. Do not write the authorization number on the outside of the original manufacturer's box. Return of new, saleable merchandise must be within 30 days of invoice. All return items must then be forwarded to the supplier and are subject to the supplier's time table. Please allow a minimum of 14 business days processing time for returns.
Items placed in service, installed and/or used will be considered for standard warranty for replacement, repair, or pro-rated exchange. All replacement or repair privileges are void when a product is reworked or altered by anyone. K and G Cycles, LLC warranties each new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from date of original purchase. This warranty is valid provided product is properly installed on the original vehicle, subject to normal use and service, is not utilized for race or competition purposes, and is not modified. These products must be returned freight paid to K and G Cycles, LLC and we will then forward the product to the manufacturer. If a thorough inspection of the product by the factory indicates defects in material or workmanship, the sole obligation of K and G Cycles shall be to have the product repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. This warranty covers only the product and does not include the cost of installation or removal. K and G Cycles, LLC shall not be liable for any and all consequential damages.
The following products may not be returned to us:
1. Alternator rotors or clutch drums with magnets, new exhaust pipes because of blueing or rusting that is the result of engine heat and elements.
2. All front and rear belts from all manufacturers.
3. Oil or gas tanks with broken mounting tabs due to vibration.
4. Consumable items: cables, filters, points, and rubber parts.
5. Parts books, manuals, and any other form of a book.
Speedometers and tachometers are warranty exchange only for vibration, not for application or ratio differences up to 1500 miles.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Due to the inherent variation of finishing materials, surface, and other requirements, we will reserve the right to replace any item returned as defective for chrome or gold plated or primer base goods for the reason of discrepant plating in the opinion of the dealer. Base primer finishes are used to discourage oxidation of the surface metal and are not considered an actual base coat for subsequent finish paint applications. Please inspect chrome or painted parts before installing. If a part is returned due to poor chrome and is found to be a used part, it will be returned to the sender.
Batteries are guaranteed up to 30 days and pro-rated up to 60 days. No guarantee for cracked or physically damaged cases or terminals at any time. Damage caused in shipping must be reported to us and carrier 24 hours after receipt of shipment. All batteries are shipped dry charged.
Shocks returned after placed in service will be returned to the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturers' decision.
Motors and transmissions are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty.
NOTE - BEFORE PAINTING GAS TANKS, OIL TANKS, FENDERS or FRAMES:
- Check new tank/fender/frame for flaws and fit before installing
- Do not grind or sand seams or joints
- Clean inside and use a sealer on tanks
- Check petcock threads for fit
- Use proper mount hardware
Gas and oil tanks are warranted for leakage as an exchange only. K and G Cycles, LLC is not the manufacturer of the gas tanks and is not liable for paint or labor claims of any kind. Tanks, fenders, and frames are shipped bare metal unless noted as a primer. The primer supplied on these products is for protection only and may not be suitable as a base coat for painting.
GENERAL POLICY:
We make no warranty of any kind as to products distributed by us, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We will, however, pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer, who has sole responsibility for performing such warranties. The manufacturer shall be solely responsible for any damage to person or property arising from the design, manufacture, and testing of its products, we accept no liability for such damages. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. K and G Cycles, LLC reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notification or liability, change or improve the design of any product, add or discontinue products. Any such acts will not give rise to an obligation to accept returns except those returns specifically provided for herein or to update the design of, any such prior products. When the customer completes his or her first purchase using this website, we will assume the customer is in complete agreement with this policy as herein stated. Effective date January 1, 2016, supersedes any previously issued sales policy.
