Polished aluminum cam cover include bushings for cams and have a cutout for the starter motor. Lower mount hole is slotted for 1971-1973 models. Cover is for electric start models. *NOTE: Lower edge has welding marks and pits where cross fit for the oil passage is closed for oil circulation. These are part of the manufactureing process and not a defect in the cover. 1971-1976 XL
