Oil Tank,Winged Horseshoe 3 Qt Hardbody Wide Tire St(Ex St Fat-A-Tude)Side Fill W/Cap Raw
Due to the additional width of our HARDBODY Wide Tire Softail frames, a standard width winged oil tank would interfere with the action of the rear fork. We now offer these steel side fill winged oil tanks to fit your wide tire frame. A chrome plated fill plug is included with both oil tanks. These oil tanks hold slightly over 3 quarts of oil and can be used with any 1984/1996 Softail style battery. A special feature of these tanks is the internal oil routing. Rather than dumping the hot returned oil near the feed line like most oil tanks, our oil tanks dump the returned oil to the far left side of the tank as far away from the feed line as possible. This internal line separation method creates an extremely efficient circulating effect producing cooler oil temperatures.Kraft Tech.
